The Most Magnificent Bridge Challenge!

After reading *The Most Magnificent Thing* by Ashley Spires, our 3rd and 4th grade students took on a **most magnificent challenge of their own!** Students were challenged to **design and create a bridge that would safely get their rubber duck across the “flowing lava.”**
They had to use creativity, problem-solving, perseverance, and a little engineering magic to bring their ideas to life!
Some designs worked right away, while others required a little **“try, fail, change, and try again”**—just like the girl in the story!
Students who successfully completed the challenge earned a **Most Magnificent Certificate
, Library Leader Ticket
, pencil
, and bookmark
** to celebrate their accomplishment!
We are SO proud of our students for taking risks, thinking creatively, and not giving up when things didn’t go exactly as planned!
